On Saturday, we left Chicago and headed towards Minneapolis, MN for the Mall of America.  We had a <strong>LONG<\/strong> drive of 7 hours. During our <strong>LONG<\/strong> drive, we saw many interesting sights: an indoor ferris wheel, the Mighty Mississippi, the Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Highway, and a spilled-out cooler in the middle of the road &#8211; someone must be missing some t-bones!<br \/>\nThere&#8217;s not too much out in these parts, so we had to make our own fun.  Luckily DJ Jazzy Jon kept the jams pumpin&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>After 2 pairs of shoes, 2 dresses, roller coaster rides and the ferris wheel, a little bit of arguing, and a free Auntie Anne&#8217;s cinnamon sugar pretzel, we were exhausted! We shopped until we dropped, literally! <strong>AND<\/strong> we still had 4 more hours to drive to get to our hotel! We booked a hotel in Sioux Falls, SD so that we could be closer to the Badlands and Mount Rushmore.  Of course, I feel asleep in the car because we didn&#8217;t get there until 2:30 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>The next morning, we slept in! The sleep schedule has been the hardest thing to adjust to for me.  If I don&#8217;t get a good night&#8217;s sleep, I&#8217;m cranky! :-\/<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a busy couple of days!
